1948 Fleetmaster Sport Coupe

Found in April 2007.
Completely restored brakes, steering, suspension with new and NOS parts on weekends.
Original rebuilt transmisson and vacuum gearshift.
Swaped the rear gears and torque tube from a powerglide 54 car with 3.55 r&p.
Swaped the tired old 216 with a new 261 souped for the open road.
Straight pipes, no mufflers.
Added a 1947 Sun rpm gauge and sender and a classic styled modern stereo with hemp-cone speakers.
Wood panel interior, 15x6 smoothie wheels and 225/75/15 radials.
